Life Lately – I WON!
Hey Yall, It’s been a while since I have had the chance to catch up. Over the past couple weeks, I have learnt that blogging is a mood. You can’t just sit down and blog your need to be in a blogging mood. I know that seems like a pretty obvious thing now that I have said something but I thought I would be able to post here twice a week. It’s hard. So another catch-up! What’s been happening since the beginning of March?
1. We got a new Jet Ski! 💦
This is probably the most exciting thing to date. My family finally replaced our original jetski. The first jet ski we have ever owned broke back in November last year. We had friends fly up from Sydney and decided to take them out on the jetski’s to Whitehaven Beach and basically, the jet ski sucked up a bunch of the fine sand and destroyed the insides. The mechanic said that the insides were all torn up from the small pieces of sand going round and round. So we lost one and gained one and this one is so much better!
My Mum and I took it for it’s first ride around a cruise boat that was staying at Airlie Beach a couple Fridays ago.
2. I went fishing and finally caught the most 😎
Every time I go fishing I’m always the one to catch one weird fish and then come home with nothing, and by weird I mean one of a kind. I always catch a fish that know one has ever seen or caught before which is pretty cool but I never catch many keepers. Joseph took me out in his boat the other day and I finally caught the most fish! There was on two of us but I think the total was like 10 to 3 or something like that. Pretty impressive if you ask me.
3. I updated Claire Sempf Design’s services 🖥
I have been wanting to do this for a while now, I have added pricing tabs for my services and added WordPress Maintenance. I am super happy with how the pages are laid out and easy the information is to access. Go take a look > https://clairesempfdesign.com/services and let me know what you think in the comments below!
4. I climbed a mountain and almost died 🏃🏼
My friend made me climb to the top of Mount Whitsunday. Mount Whitsunday is a really steep hill almost in the heart of Airlie Beach. I didn’t think I could make it to the top but when I did the view was so worth it but the lack of a water bottle was not. Oh, and neither was the 30-degree heat. Next time I will definitely be dropping off a water bottle at the top haha.
After our walk/hike, we went for a quick dip at the lagoon then went home and cooked breakfast. It was great.
5. It’s raining and a possible cyclone?
Currently, the Whitsunday should be renamed to the whitNOsundays. For me this is great, I am loving this weather currently and love seeing all the water lying around. It is the perfect weather to relax around inside, watch movies, and eat soups and yummy winter food, I also don’t have to sleep with my aircon on! Apparently, there is a cyclone predicted for Monday but they are still humming and hawing it. Let’s see if it brews or not…
